Christmas Psych Soc Gift Giving

December is the twelfth and last month of the year yet it is the most awaited month by

all, especially the youngest of children. It is a time of social gatherings, reunions, and gift giving.
As children wait for gifts that they wish to have on Christmas, the Psychology family of

Southville International School and Colleges acted as Santa’s helpers and spread the early
yuletide spirit to the toddlers of CAA Phase IV-B Daycare Center last December 5, 2019.

As early as November, the Psychology students prepared for this heartfelt event.

Children had written their wish lists and each student sought to fulfill these wishes. The
Psychology Society had special gifts for everyone and personally distributed them through

faculty, officers and Psychology student volunteers.

The day started early for the gift givers who enthusiastically ensured that the gifts were

secure and properly labeled. Their arrival at the day care center sparked several smiles from
the children as they eyed the wrapped gifts. Every teacher, officer and volunteer was assigned

to a specific classroom where they assisted with delighted hearts. Short programs were done per
classroom where each started with a prayer. Some of the gift givers showcased their talents to

the toddlers, where they sang, danced, and even modeled After introducing themselves and some
entertainments, the volunteers delightedly distributed the gifts which brought even more
