HIGHLIGHTS!
The team have developed new
observation and planning paperwork and
are working to develop their
understanding of outcome focused
observation and planning. They have also
rolled out a better range of play
experiences both in and outdoors, and
are using the Famly app to share play
experiences and outcomes with families.
LOOKING FORWARD
The team will be working on improving the
quality, safety, and maintenance of their
spaces in the coming months,
empowering the children and staff to have
pride in their environment. “Great experiences on offer. Lots of
play outdoors and in the
community. My child is always
happy to go and loves when
booked in for extra days.”
MURIESTON
HIGHLIGHTS!
Murieston received a strong report from the
Care Inspectorate, scoring ‘Good’ across all
elements of the Quality Inspection
Framework. During a challenging year
when one family suffered a major
bereavement, the team pulled together to
offer emotional support to the children and
wider family and still have weekly updates
to ensure ongoing support.
LOOKING FORWARD
The team are exploring best practice when
communicating with children to ensure
they are respectful and nurturing, and that
all communication supports children’s “Thank you, Tracey and the SP
learning and emotional wellbeing. team, for all your help and
support you’ve given us as a
family.”
