              What’s New This Year



              Fasten your seat belts. We have a LOT of great news for you this year!


              New Carrier
              For the 2022 benefit year, we will be changing partners. Manulife will be providing our group Health,
              Dental, Life, and Critical Illness coverage starting January 1, 2022.


              New Plan Design Changes and Improvements
              AEO is always striving to lead the market in our Associate offerings. In 2022, we have added
              enhancements  to  our  Core  and  Premium  plans  that  will  be  highlighted  in  the  guide  with  a
              “new this year” flag.

              We have also added a new Opt Out / HCSA-only plan to give you more choice. This plan acts as a
              default plan for those who do not take action during enrolment. It has an HCSA allowance to
              cover CRA-eligible medical / dental expenses. You can also choose this plan if you have full
              coverage under another plan but want to use the broader HCSA provision to cover other dependent
              expenses in your family.
