Major League Baseball offers employees a full benefits program that is among the finest in the nation. Not
only are the benefits rich, but the scope of the offerings is broad—providing the flexibility and choice that our
diverse employee population and their families want and need today.
The benefits program is designed to help ensure your good health (medical, dental and vision), protect your
finances (disability, life and accident insurance) and help you prepare for a more secure future (savings and
retirement plans). There is also a wide assortment of programs and services to help you balance and
enhance your work and personal life—health and dependent care assistance plans, domestic partner
coverage, an Employee Assistance Program, auto & homeowner’s insurance, direct deposit of your
paycheck, and more.
In order for you and your dependents to get the most from your benefit plans, it’s important to know how they
work and to use them well. This booklet will help introduce you to each of the plans that make up your
benefits program. For more detailed information, click the links throughout this booklet.
