Alexander Davila
Alexander Isaiah Davila of Dinuba died May 29 in Dinuba. He was 17.
Mr. Davila was a student.
He is survived by his parents, Veronica and Paul Lopez, one sis- ter and one brother.
Services were held June 9 at Smith Moun- tain Cemetery in Di- nuba. Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
Reuel Green
Reuel Wilson Green of Madera died June 1 in Madera. He was 91.
Mr. Green worked as a firefighter.
He is survived by two daughters. two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba. Dop- kins Dinuba Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.

Christopher Maldo- nado of Dinuba died May 30. He was 22.

Miguel Rosales of Dinuba died May 29. He was 30.
Mr. Rosales worked in a warehouse.
He is survived by his wife Samantha, eight brothers and one sister.

residents to stop COVID-19 spread

A new banner is hang- ing near the intersection of Academy and Jensen avenues in Sanger – en- couraging residents to take all the necessary precautions to curb the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The banner was made possible through a pur- chase by State Foods owners Mufid Alamsi and Ali Alkably after employees approached them about doing a com- munity outreach project to address the current pandemic.
“I was just thinking of something good we can do,” said Accounting Di- rector Maricela Macedo. “I thought, what can we do to just bring everyone together? What can we do to promote prevention education?”
The marketing team at State Foods then came up with the “We Love Sanger” campaign and proceeded to develop promotional material, including the banner on Academy Avenue, to en- courage residents to do their part in preventing the spread of the virus.

stalled by city public works on Tuesday af- ternoon and will remain hanging for the duration of the summer, as no oth- er events are scheduled in the near future in the city.
Along with the ban- ner, posters with the same message have been distributed at various businesses throughout town in a group effort with the Sanger Cham- ber of Commerce.

A volunteer with Reedley Relay for Life passes out signs and gifts during a drive-through salute to cancer survivors on June 6 at Tri-County in Reedley. After the morning drive- through event, Relay organizers hosted an evening Luminaria Video Drive-In at Tri- County. An estimated 30 to 35 cancer survivors came out to watch video presentations on a big screen. Reedley Relay for Life has hosted a number of smaller online and virtual event after the COVID-19 crisis forced the cancellation of the 2020 Relay in April.

Doris Darlene Flaming
October 19, 1925 - May 25, 2020
Doris Darlene Flaming was born on October 19, 1925 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She passed away on May 25, 2020 in Reedley, California at the age of 94. Doris was a devoted follower of Christ. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She called her grandchildren her “little angels” and rarely missed an event they were involved in. She was often found working on the family farm or meticulously picking up trash along the stretch of road she lived on. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Vernon Flaming; son Jeffrey Flaming and wife Maxine; son Randall Flaming and wife Sherry; her grandchildren: Tara Wilson and husband Branden, Blake Flaming and wife Stephanie, Todd Flaming and wife Bethany, and Brandon Flaming; great-grandchildren; David Flaming, Wesley Flaming, Scarlett Flaming, Moose Wilson, Colton Flaming, Levi Wilson, Ethan Flaming, Vernon Wilson, Taylin Flaming, and Clay Flaming. She will be greatly missed by our entire family.
