The Reedley Police Department handled 622 public-initiated and officer-initiated calls for service, with 123 dis- patched as Priority 1 calls. Officers completed 120 police reports, made 23 arrests and issued 54 traffic citations. There were three traffic col- lisions and three DUI cases, one fire call and 17 medical aid calls.

Lowell Kliewer
November 26, 1932 ~ July 23, 2021
Lowell Kliewer passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at his home in Reedley. He was born on November 26, 1932 to H.B. and Eva Kliewer
in Henderson, Nebraska. Lowell was a building contractor and farmer in
the Reedley/Dinuba area.
He is survived by his
four children, Nancy and husband George Weis,
Jerry and wife Crystal Kliewer, James and wife Rhonda Kliewer, and Wayne Kliewer, eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
His Memorial Service is Friday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m. at RMBC with a luncheon to follow.

July 19, 1921 ~ July 17, 2021
María del Refugio Garcia born on July 19, 1921 died on Saturday July 17, 2021 at home with her daughter and grandson at her bedside. She was one of Sanger’s oldest residents passing just 25 hours away from her 100th birthday.
She is preceded in death by two sons, and is survived by her daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Tabernacle of Praise in Sanger at 11:00 a.m.
