RHS Baseball
The Reedley High Pirates baseball team was 4-2 in the North Yosemite League fol- lowing two wins over McLane High School.
The Pirates defeated McLane High 12-3 April 24 in Reedley.
The Pirates then defeated McLane 10-3 on April 27 in Fresno.
On April 24, Kevin Her- nandez was the winning pitch- er. Justin Rackley had three RBIs, while Greg Quintanilla and Roger Ortiz each had two.
On April 27, Ortiz was the winning pitcher. He had six strikeouts.
Justin Lopez and Jacob Franco each had two RBIs.
Reedley High played Fres- no High on May 1. No score was available at presstime.

RHS Softball
The Reedley High Pirates softball team was in a tie for first place in the North Yosem-

“We are concentrating on taking it one game at a time, one inning at a time and one at bat at a time,” Franco said. “If we do that, I think we will be on top of the CSL at the end.”
The Immanuel High Eagles softball team earned their first CSL win of the sea- son by defeating the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers 8-6 on April 25 in Visalia.
No statistics were avail- able.
The Eagles played Selma High on May 1 at the Imman- uel High Sports Complex.
Immanuel then will play Exeter High on Friday, May 4, in Exeter. They then will play Dinuba High School on Tuesday, May 8, in Dinuba.
IHS' Nate Kendricks earns All-State basketball honors
Nate Kendricks, Immanuel High Eagles basketball player, was named to the CalHi Sports All-State Division III First Team.
Kendricks helped lead the Eagles to a Central Section Division III Championship in March.
It was the fifth straight title for Immanuel High.
Kendricks ended his senior season averaging 28.8 points and five rebounds per game. Kendricks' 28 points per game ranked sixth in the state.
Kendricks will continue his education and play basketball at Fresno Pacific University, beginning in the fall.

Castellanos and Vallejo were chosen to the All-CVC First Team. Grimbleby and Villarreal were named to the All-CVC Second Team.

RC Baseball
The Reedley College Ti- gers baseball team swept a four-game series from West Hills Coalinga to complete
the regular season.
Reedley College defeated
West Hills-Coalinga 9-1 on April 24.
They then won a double- header against West Hills on April 26 by scores of 5-1 and 19-4.
The Tigers ended their regular season on April 27 with a 22-0 blowout over West Hills at Reedley Col- lege.
Reedley College ended 27-13 overall and 15-6 in the CVC.
They finished in second place two games behind Fresno City College
The Tigers earned a No. 12 seed in the State Play- offs Northern California Regional and will play No. 5 seed Feather River College.
The Tigers start the best of three series against Feath- er River College on Friday, May 4, in Plumas.
On April 24, Reedley Col- lege opened the final series of the regular season with a 9-1 win over West Hills-Coal- inga in Reedley.
They then won both games of a doubleheader against West Hills College on April 26 in Coalinga.
The Tigers won the first game 5-1, the won the second game 19-4.
On April 24, Brady Barcellos was the winning pitcher.
Blake Hernandez and Cooper Morrison each had a home run and three RBIs. Luke Juarez, Gabe Grijalva and Ty Bamford each had one RBI.
On April 26, Evan Sagariballa picked up the win in the first game.
Sagariballa pitched eight innings, allowing just one run and striking out seven batters. Sid Lacy earned his eighth save.
Grijalva and Kevin Page each had two RBIs.
The Tigers then won the second game 19-4.
Reedley College scored nine runs in the first inning and never was challenged.
Page had five RBIs, while Grijalva had four RBIs. Nick Martinez ended the game with three RBIs and Hernandez and Jackson Leach each had two.
On April 27, the Tigers picked up a dominant 22-0 victory over West Hills.
Martinez had six RBIs, while Bamford had three. Morrison, Leach, Damien Holmes and Schyler Sicoli each had two.
