Gov. Gavin Newsom on July 27 signed Assem- bly Bill 133, the omnibus health bill that includes expanding full scope Medi-Cal to income- eligible undocumented adults age 50 and older.
Fresno's Dr. Joaquin Arambula, representa- tive for the 31st Assem- bly District that includes Sanger and Reedley, was on hand at the signing event in Fresno. Other notable alloca- tions that 31st District will receive includes $15 million designated for the San Joaquin River Conservancy, for opera- tions and maintenance. Arambula initially an- nounced the allocation on July 23 with a check presentation top the Conservancy and Wild- wood Native Park along the San Joaquin River.
In addition, Arambu- la's office helped secure $1 million for Reedley College's Aviation Main- tenance Technology pro- gram that is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
