was the second fatal hit and run of a pedestrian in the city in 2021.

• A vehicle stop at Parlier and Frankwood avenues at 9:09 p.m. re- sulted in the arrest of the driver for suspected DUI.
• Officers responded to the 900 block of East Springfield Avenue for a gun disturbance. Up- on arrival officers lo- cated two subject who were struck by gunfire. One of the subject was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to a local hos- pital for treatment of a non-life threatening gun- shot wound. This case is being investigated as a homicide and the public is asked to contact the police department if they have any information.
