Junior Carissa Hall won the long jump and triple jump along with anchoring a first place finish in the 4x400 meters that included team- mates Paige Howard, Payton Breckenridge and Tamsen Taves. Howard also won the 400 meters race.

Lackey picks up his first pitching victory for FPU
Immanuel High graduate Andrue Lackey picked up his first collegiate pitching win for Fresno Pacific University on April 5 when he worked an inning in the Sunbirds' 11-9 victory over Biola Univresity in La Mirada. Lackey, a red- shirt freshman from Kings- burg, worked around two walks but didn't allow a hit in his inning pitched.
Another Immanuel prod- uct, junior pitcher Carson Schellenberg from Reedley, fell to 0-4 on the season after taking the loss in a 4-2 deci- sion against Biola on April 7. Schellenberg allowed a run on two hits in one-third inning of work, and for the season has 12 strikeouts and 16 walks in
17 innings of work. Reedley's Adam Aleman
went 1-for-4 with a run scored in the Sunbirds' loss to Biola on April 6. He's batting .260 on the season with 19 hits and seven runs batted in.

Another tourney win for RC
Reedley College should hold on to its top ranking in the state after an April 8 win in a Big 8 Conference tourna- ment in Monterey.
The Tigers' round of 384 was 14 shots better than sec- ond place and host Monterey Peninsula College.
Leading the way for Reed- ley were Tommy O'Rourke and Morgan Cooper, who both shot rounds of 76, good for a tie for second in the in- dividual standings. Dylan Otto and Beau Willett both shot 77 while Bailey Flickinger shot a 78.
The undefeated Big 8 Con- ference champions are idle until the ninth conference tournament at Paso Robles on Monday, April 22.
