Sunday, December 6
•A noise complaint of loud music was made in the 1700 Block of Lau- ren Avenue.
•A patrol check for a subject dragging a bike was made at the park.
The Reedley Police De- partment handled 417 public initiated and offi- cer initiated calls for ser- vice, with 80 dispatched as Priority 1 calls. Offi- cers completed 62 police reports, made 12 arrests, and issued 7 traffic cita- tions. There were 6 traffic collisions, two DUI cases, 1 fire call and 24 medical aids.

• 800 Block of O Street - Male subject was arrest- ed during a vehicle stop for outstanding felony warrants. The male was later transported to the Fresno County Jail.
• 2200 Block of Mary - Officers responded to the location for a report of a vehicle versus a bi- cyclist.

Hazel Whynema Nance was born December 6, 1921 and went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2020, six days shy of her 99th birthday. Her birthplace was Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born to Gay and Bertha Forrest and was the eldest daughter of eight children.
She was married to Clifford Andrew Nance, they had three sons: Clifford Jr, Robert and Frank Nance and were blessed with two daughters: Carolyn and Deborah. They bought a farm south of Kingsburg where they raised their family. She helped Clifford farm 350 acres of cotton as well as caring for her family.
She always kept a lovely home and a beautiful yard full of all varieties of flowers. Her middle name Whynema means “a beautiful flower.” Their home was known for hospitality and good food, especially homemade pies. Hazel loved her children and grandchildren and cherished the visits from her son’s and their families. Her motto that she lived by was “die to self and live for others,” which she certainly lived by.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Nance, her parents, Gay and Bertha Forrest, three brothers, Ethmer, Lloyd and Dean Forrest and one sister, Irene Kevorkian, sons Clifford Jr and Robert Nance and her daughter Deborah Penner.
She is survived by her son Frank Nance (Bonnie) and daughter Carolyn Lunsford and sisters Lucille Reitz (Richard) and Barbara Harman, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
Due to covid restrictions there was a private service on Friday, December 11th at Dopkins Chapel in Reedley.
