If passed, the bill would go to the Legislature for pos- sible approval. It would then become law with Gov. Gavin Newsom’s signature.
In the meantime, veter- ans groups are getting the word out to the public about the Armory and its availabil- ity to be the site for events. Some groups already have discussed hosting events there, and more open houses are planned for the facility.
Money raised from the open house event went to benefit Reedley Area Veter- ans programs.
