Margaret Kovacevich
September 28, 1926 - January 21, 2020
On Tuesday, January 21, 2020, Margaret Kovacevich, 93, loving wife, mother and Gigi, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family, in Reedley.
Margaret was born on September 28, 1926, to Joe and eresa Quindimil in Reedley Ca. She graduated from Reed- ley High in 1944. On January
24, 1946, she married her high school sweetheart, John Kova-
cevich, in Reno Nevada. ey raised three children, Joe, Kathy,
and Jonelle.
Margaret was an excellent homemaker,
creating a warm and inviting home for her family. She was known for her spotless home, delicious cooking, and seamstress skills, designing and sewing beautiful clothes for her girls. Margaret loved spending time with family more than anything. She was fun loving, kind, and adored being a grandmother. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will always remember all the fun times spent playing games with her. “Gigi” had a way of making each child feel very special. Her three children will tenderly remember one on one conversations with mom, always expressing her ac- ceptance, support and encouragement.
Margaret cherished memories of family trips to Pismo Beach. She would be the rst one up, walking along the beach, searching for the perfect sand dollar. Over the years, she and John enjoyed spending time with dear friends during their many getaways to Reno. She was a loyal Tiger Woods fan, and cheered enthusiasti- cally as she watched the Warriors.
Margaret will be dearly remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor, being a loyal con dante, her beautiful smile, and most of all, her unconditional love.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and eresa Quindimil; sisters, eresa Bennett, and Josephine Peris.
She is survived by the love of her life, and husband of 73 years, John Kovacevich; son, Joe (Linda) Kovacevich; daughters, Kathy Irvine, and Jonelle (Steve) Borcich; grandchildren, John McCartney, Tony Kovacevich, Jenay Baca, Mike Kovacevich,
Deja Griggs, and Josh Tyler; great-grandchildren, Bekah, Kenah, Maddox, Paige, Brandon, London, Aryssa, Russel and Tessa; brother, John (Sally) Quindimil and family, brother-in-law, Kenny Kovacevich and family, and nieces and nephews.
e family is very grateful to Palm Village East Wing sta , and Adventist Health Reedley sta , for their excellent care, empathy, and compassion.
A private Celebration of Life is planned.
Since Margaret loved to read since she was a little girl, a memorial donation to Reedley Friends of the Library would be a lovely way to honor her. Library address: 1027 E. Street, Reedley, CA. 93654.

Thom as Ervin ToEws
May 13, 1956 ~ February 15, 2020
Thomas Ervin Toews, 63, of Dinuba, CA, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, February 15, 2020. Born May 13, 1956 in Dinuba, CA, he was the son of Ervin and Darlene Toews. Tom attended Immanuel HS in Reedley, CA and began working at an early age. He had numerous jobs, but most were focused in the agricultural industry. He spent many years managing multiple packing sheds in the farming community of Dinuba. Tom was a skilled musician who enjoyed playing his bass and guitar, and played in a band called Sweet Song with two of his closest friends in his younger years. He was also a very talented woodworker and created many pieces of furniture that will be cherished by his family for years to come. He was most passionate about his love for Jesus and the profound knowledge of the simple gospel: grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. His greatest desire was to help people understand how truly simple a relationship with Jesus is meant to be. Tom moved to Pine Grove, CA in the last year of his life to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ervin and Darlene Toews. He is survived by his two children, Sarah Andrus and her husband Jonathan, Jeremy Toews and his wife Abby, his three sisters, Lynn Bock and her husband Paul, Connie Christensen and her husband Chris, and Tamara Nuckles and her husband David, and six grandchildren: Leah, Isaiah, Mackenzi, August, So a and Lana.
A celebration of life will be of ciated by Pastor George Stathos at City Church of Jackson (975 Broadway), March 01, 2020 at 2 p.m.
