• A vandalism was re- ported at 9:47 p.m. in the 100 block of South P Sttreet.
• A possible DUI was reported in the area of Englehart Avenue and Avenue 424 at 10:41 p.m. A subject was swerving as they passed reporting party heading north.
• A report of shots fired was received from the 300 block of North K Street at 11:52 p.m. Call- er heard one shot fired.

• A possible DUI was reported in the area of
El Monte Avenue and Road 68 at 2:50 a.m. A vehicle was reported to have been swerving and already had run two red lights.
• A grass fire was report- ed in the area of Avenue 416 and Road 104 at 4:46 p.m. The call was trans- ferred to Tulare County Fire.
• An injury traffic ac- cident was reported at Randle/Sierra at 5:58 p.m. A vehicle reported- ly went off the road and into a cornfield.
• A structure fire with rescue occurred in the 1300 block of K Street at 11:02 p.m.
Sunday, September 29
• Three verbal distur- bances were reported be- tween 2:30 and 8:20 a.m. • A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1200 block of Timothy Avenue at 7:38 a.m. Items were taken from the bed of a work truck.
• An assault was reported in the 200 block of North Lyndsay Way at 4:49 p.m. • Firefighters responded to a grass fire and un- known type fire between 7:41 and 8:02 p.m. at two locations, the 800 block of Pacific Circle and the area of Crawford and Si- erra avenues.
• There were reports of four to five shots fired in the 1900 block of East Sierra Way at 10:17 p.m. Nothing was seen by the reporting party.
Just three days after battling a structure fire that killed a local man, Reedley firefight- ers were again busy putting out a structure fire that broke out after 4 p.m. on Oct. 1 in the 100 block of West Parlier Avenue. No one was at home during the brief blaze, with the cause yet to be de- termined. Dinuba Fire and Cal Fire assisted
in fighting the blaze. Damage was undeter- mined as of press time on Oct. 1.
