RHS basketball camp
Reedley Summer Hoops summer camp will take place Monday, June 18, to Wednes- day, June 20, at Reedley High School. The early registration fee is $30 for payments by June 7. The late Registration fee is $40.
There will be three ses- sions in the camp. Session one will be for kids kindergarten to second grade, from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
Session two will be for grades third to fifth grade, from 10:00 to 11: 30 a.m, and session three for grades sixth to eighth grade, will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Basketball skills will be taught, such as footwork drills, competitions, shooting drills, shooting competitions, and more.

This was the Eagles' third trip to the championship in five years.
They lost to Exeter High in the Division V finals in 2014. They won the Division IV Championships over Fire- baugh High in 2016.
The Eagles also hav won the Central Sequoia League Championship twice in the
past three years.
“We have been able to do
some awesome things in my time here at Immanuel. All of the credit goes to the players and their families for the time and commitment they have given to me and my coaching staff,” Franco said. “Our guys and their families and the ad- ministration and board at Im- manuel have believed in my vision for our program and because of that support here we are.”

In her senior season at Im- manuel, Gonsalves helped lead the Eagles volleyball team to a Central Section Division IV Championship. It was the sec- ond straight title for the Eagles. She was also a All-Central Sequoia League First Team se-
lection in 2017.
“I would not have been able
to get to where I am without them,” Gonsalves said. “I feel like this is something every- body deserves.”
Gonsalves will attend Providence Christian College in Pasadena on a volleyball schol- arship beginning in the fall.
Simonian was the starting quarterback and defensive back for the Immanuel High Eagles football team in 2017.
He also was a member of the Eagles boys basketball team that won the Division III title.
“It is a real blessing and humbling,” Simonian said. “Even though Immanuel is a small school, the students we have are all stud athletes. For
the past four years I have put inalotofworkandIamhappy to be recognized.”
Simonian will compete in the City/County Football All- Star Game on Friday, June 15, at Lamonica Stadium in Clovis.
Collins said that winning the award means a lot.
“It was a big surprise to win this award,” Collins said. “We have a lot of talented athletes. To be named as Athlete of the Year is a big honor.”
Collins helped lead the Im- manuel High's baseball team to the Central Section Division III Championship game in 2018 and was a All-CSL First Team selec- tion. Collins also was the leading receiver on the Eagles football team and also was a All-CSL First Team selection.
He also will compete in the City/County Football All-Star Game in Clovis.
Collins said that he is look- ing forward to the future but will miss Immanuel High.
“As the days run out you re- ally start to feel it,” Collins said. “ You want it to happen all year but once it happens it hits you. I will miss this place.”
