The Cal Ripken Baseball League will host opening ceremonies for the 2019 season at 9 a.m. Saturday at KC Park. The public is invited to come watch the ceremonies as players and families gear up for another exciting year. There will be player and coach introductions and during the opening ceremonies, Miss Dinuba, Audrey Menard, will sing the national anthem.
Dinuba Mayor Kuldip Thusu and Tulare County Board of Superivsor Eddie Valero along with a few other elected officials will be in attendance.
Games will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and there will be a raffle and plenty of food throughout the day.

After a remarkable turnaround from a season ago, members of the DHS girls soccer team also received all-league honors.
Freshman Natalie Duran was named c0-underclassman of
the year and classmate Isabella Ramirez also was an all-league first team member, according to Diaz.
Second team members were sophomore Crystal Lucatero and senior Adalene Velasco.
The Emperors finished the year with a 9-11-1 recored and 4-7-1 in league. DHS made the Div. IV playoffs before falling to Fowler in the opener.

Dinuba Aquatics Boosters & Vietnam Veterans of America and the American Legion Committee will be hosting their 1st annual Bingo Night Fudraiser.
The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. on April 3 at the Dinuba Memorial Hall.
The fundraiser will assist in scholarships that the American Legion awards every year as well as aid in the completion of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. Furthermore, it will allos the DHS swim program to send swimmers to summer camps and help pay for equipment needed for the programs.

DINUBA HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER
Dinuba High soccer player Marco Garcia is the Athlete of the Week after being named the Central Sequoia League's Most Valuable Player. Garcia helped the Emperors capture the CSL crown with an undefeated 10-0 record as Dinuba  nished the year at 19-6-1.
