Farmers Market Vouchers
Farmers Market vouch-
ers are available for seniors 60 years of age and up. Fresno and Madera county residents may come by the Senior Center Monday to Friday, 9-10:30 a.m. You must provide a current ID. Vouchers are available until July 11.
Bingo
The next monthly bingo is scheduled for Thursday, July 12 at the Reedley Senior Center, 100 N. East Ave.
If you would like to have lunch and play bingo, call (559) 637-4207 by 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11.
Ice Cream Social
Join us for delicious ice cream on Wednesday, July 11, following lunch. Build your own sundae by choos- ing from a wonderful as- sortment of toppings. All you need to bring is yourself and a friend.
Call the day before - at (559) 637-4207 - to make a lunch reservation by 11 a.m. And “thank you” to the Golden Living Center for providing the ice cream and toppings.
Café Bistro / Billiards

Senior Center Lunches
Meals taste so much bet- ter when you enjoy them with others! Join us in the Phil Hudson Senior Room weekdays at 11 a.m. (except holidays) for a nutritious lunch and good time.
The program is partially funded by the Fresno-Made- ra Area Agency on Aging. If you are 60 or older, a sug- gested donation of $1.50 is appreciated but not required. Reservations must be made by 11 a.m. the weekday be-

This documentary, from 2008, “throws des- perately needed light on the practices of a relent- less multi-billion dollar marketing machine that now sells kids and their parents everything from junk food and violent video games to bogus educational products and the family car,” according to the Top Documentary Films website.

She stood in line for the magic show by Tim Mannix on June 13 and got the last four available tickets for herself and three
of her children.
“It’s something fun to do
during the summer,” Sanchez said.
Said her daughter Marissa Sanchez,8: “It’salotoffun.” Carol Turner brought her two granddaughters to see the
magic show.
“I love the library,” she
said. “It’s something differ- ent from being at home and my grandaughters are able to be with other kids.”
Seventeen children from Chapter One School walked to Pioneer Park to see the popu- lar show by E & M’s Reptile Family that featured lizards, snakes, and other reptiles. It was held at Pioneer Park to accommodate the large crowd. Michelle Bondurant,

the Disney movie, “Coco.” Presented by the City of Reedley’s Community Ser- vices Department. At Pio- neer Park on G St. across from the Reedley Police Department. “Coco” is
a 2017 animated feature that was a hit for Disney, courtesy of its acclaimed Pixar Animation Studios. “Coco” this year won two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song (“Remember Me”). Pre- movie activities are held 30 minutes before the  lm starts.

• Monday, July 16 - Washi Frame Craft, 4 p.m., at the Reedley Library. Tweens (ages 9-12) will be shown how to design and make a photo frame from craft sticks and washi tape. There will be a variety of tape colors and pat- terns.
• Wednesday, July 18 - The Hoots, 10 a.m., at the Reedley Library. This program fea- tures “fun and silly songs that will get kids and families mov- ing and shaking,” according to the Fresno County Public Li- brary website.

Tai Chi Class
Come join us Monday’s from 12:30-1:30 pm. Tai Chi will give you benefits for balance/fall prevention, increase your circulation and improve your mind and breathing. The cost is $10 per month. Stop by the Community Center office to register and pay for the class.
Gleaners
Reedley Residents 55 and up can come to the Reedley Community Center on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. for free fresh fruit, vegeta- bles and bread.
