Reedley's 12-year-old All-Stars are still in contention while the 10-year-old and 11-year-old teams have wrapped up play in their respective District 10 tour- naments.
The 11-year-olds hosted their tour- nament at Camacho Park, posting a 1-3 record capped off with a 19-9 loss to
Little League
Chowchilla on June 20. On June 18, Reed- ley dropped a 21-13 decision to Madera American on June 18, one day after beat- ing Chowchilla for its lone tourney win.
The Riverpark All-Stars from Fresno won the tournament on June 24 with a 14-1 drubbing of Selma. Riverpark went 4-0, outscoring their opponents by a com- bined 54-14 while reaching double figures in scoring all four games.
The Reedley 10-year-olds finished 2-2 at the District 10 tournament in Fresno,
closing out play with a dramatic 6-5 loss in nine innings to Madera National in a game at Camacho Park on June 20.
Reedley had taken a two-run lead in the eighth inning before Madera rallied, and a steal of home in the ninth brought in the winning run.
Reedley bounced back from an open- ing loss to Chowchilla by defeating Made- ra American and Riverpark Red. After edging Reedley, Madera National won two more games to reach the June 25 fi-

Reedley College will be inducting six new mem- bers at this year's Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame ban- quet, scheduled for Satur- day, Aug. 3 in the college cafeteria.
The Class of 2019 Hall of Fame inductees are Nobi Kitaoka, volleyball (1980- 2002, 2017-present); Antho- ny Montgomery, football (2003-2005); Curtis Pasma, baseball (2003-2005); Jessi- ca Baley Quinn, volleyball (1995-1997); Abbi Millwee Riddle, basketball (1998- 2000); and Riley Young, football (2001-2003).

The Reedley Babe Ruth 14-year-old all-stars posted two victories, one a tight battle and the other a rout, to capture the District 3 championship and advance to the Central California State play.
In action at Reedley High School varsity diamond, the hosts pulled out a 9-8 victory over Selma on June 23 and then rolled to a 10-0 win in five innings against the Yo- semite Mustang All-Stars on June 24. The team advances to play in the Central State tournament in Madera beginning on July 5.
Reedley removed any drama against Yosemite by striking for four runs in the opening inning, taking advantage of four walks, an infield single, two wild pitches and a sacrifice fly to plate four runs.
Infielder Joseph Juarez had the lone hit in the inning, and paced Reedley's offense by going 2-for-4. Catcher Ryan Warkentin walked twice and scored three runs from the leadoff position while shortstop Aeneas Vargas finished 1-for-3 with two runs scored.
Landon Kehoe pitched four in- nings of three-hit ball for the win, striking out five, and Sam Rodri- guez worked one scoreless inning with a strikeout.
Juarez collected three hits against Selma, including an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to score Alex Gonzalez with the winning run.
Reedley High's 13-year-olds also advanced to Central State play, posting a 2-1 record in the District 3 tournament. The all-stars trounced Selma by a 14-1 score on June 21, beat Madera 9-6 on June

Mulligan, Duncan part of County All-Stars' softball win
Reedley High School's Emma Mulligan posed with Dean Eller after she received the Jenny Eller Most Inspirational Player award for the County All-Stars on June 19. Mulligan played left field and caught for the County, which rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the City All-Stars by a 7-4 score at Fresno State's Margie Wright Diamond.
