Catholic Schools: The most important gift you will ever give your child!
Let your child grow with us! Visit us or call (559) 638- 2621 to schedule a visit or please visit our website for more information at stla- sallereedley.org.
We believe a Catholic school education is the most important gift that parents will ever give their child.
At St. La Salle we foster knowledge, faith and service and we prepare our students to use their God-given tal- ents to the fullest later in life. We offer an opportunity for students to explore the many life paths that enable them to use their talents by serving the church and our community in various ca- pacities and make the world a better place.
5 reasons to choose a Catholic School
1. We offer an education that combines Catholic faith and teachings with academic excellence.
2. We partner with par- ents in the faith formation of their children.
3. We set high standards for student achievement and help them succeed.
4. We provide a balanced academic curriculum that integrates faith, culture and life.
5. We use technology ef- fetely to enhance education. We are a proud Catholic
School!
Congratulations
Congratulations to Sister Mary Lilly Naduvilaveedu on receiving your Master’s in Leadership. She will be Graduating from Fresno Pa- cific On May 4.
May Crowning
On May 3, Naydine Mu- rillo and Natalie Martinez both Crowned the Blessed Mother Mary. Mary is the perfect follower of Christ.
The maid of Nazareth consented to God’s plan; she journeyed on the pilgrim- age of faith; she listened to God’s Word and kept it in her
heart; she remained stead- fastly in close union with her Son, all the way to the foot of the Cross; she persevered in prayer with the Church.
Thus, in an eminent way, she won the ‘crown of righ- teousness,’ ‘the crown of life,’ ‘the crown of glory’ that is promised to those who fol- low Christ.” Let us be sure to honor our Blessed Mother in our hearts and our homes.
The recitation of the fam- ily rosary each day, images of our Blessed Mother, having a special shrine in our yard, and having our own family May Crowning are wonder- ful ways not only to foster devotion and faith, but also to draw us closer to the heart of Our Savior.

Save the Children recently
partnered with The Bezos Fam- ily Foundation, a foundation that supports inspired learning environments for young chil- dren, the two combined formed VROOM.
"Vroom is funded by Besos Family, so we work together with the program, our program works with pregnant women and families who have children from birth to five years of age,"
said Diaz. "We do home visita- tions with 20 families, two visits a month, and we have what we call parent child group meet- ings those are once a month."
During the family meet- ings, Diaz said topics like de- velopment and targeting fine motor skills and writing skills are implemented.
"And then we have an ex- tension program with pre- schoolers or children who are ages 3 to 5 years old," she said. "We call it book back program. We invite those parents also to our meetings that we have once a month."
"Also I go in the classroom with the students," she contin- ued. "And do read alongs with them and activities with them."
Diaz said talking about how the program has changed Reed- ley was a huge accomplishment for her, and she's glad she was able to inform people on a na- tional platform.
"I've been blessed," she said. "I have not had any diffi- culty enrolling or keeping the amount of families that I have to have enrolled because some of our families are speaking up for us."
