Elaine Janet (Braun) Sumrow was 79 years of age when she passed away on December 22, 2017 a er a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s while under the loving care of Golden Living Center in Fresno, California.
e Children of Elaine will be having a Going Home Celebration Remembrance on Sunday, Jan 28th, 2018, 1- 4pm at the Tree of Life Café & Bakery, 2139 Kern St, Fresno, CA 93721 and all that want to attend are invited.
Elaine was born Oct 19th 1938 in Dinuba, CA to John and Agnes Braun. Elaine went to school in Reedley at Immanuel High School. Elaine married Carl Sumrow on Nov 13, 1959 in Fresno, CA. Elaine was trained as a Nurse Assistant and worked multiple jobs. Elaine was the Wife, Mother and Grandmother of US Veterans.
Elaine is survived by her previous husband Carl, three children; Debra and Charles Bissett, Anthony and Maxine Sumrow, Sandra and Damian Brown, Brother Wesley Braun, several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
e family is requesting no owers and any memorials be given to remembrance at Golden Living Center Country View, Alzheimer’s Care, 925 N Cornelia Ave, Fresno CA 93706. e family of Elaine Sumrow wish to extend our warmest thanks to all the sta of the Golden Living Center at Country View for their Loving Care for Mom for the last thirteen years.
