• Dinuba High School will be holding their Fourth Annual Fall Fiesta Fundraiser on Saturday, October 20. The event will be held at 41404 Road 70 in Dinuba and will begin at 5 p.m.

• The Western Regional Vietnam Wall Committee will be presenting a South Pacific Luau on Sunday, October 21, at the Dinuba Memorial Hall.
The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with Happy Hour being held from 5 to 6 p.m. The Dinuba Memorial Hall is located at 249 South Alta Avenue in Dinuba. For more information, call Ruth Padill at 696-0614 or Frank Nunez at 970-5177.
•Palm United Methodist Church of Dinuba will hold its annual Oriental Take-Out Dinner on Saturday, October 27, 2018, 3:00- 6:00 PM.
The church is located at 438 West Tulare Street, corner of "P" Street, in Dinuba. Menu will include Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Cabbage & Ramen Salad, Chow Mein, Steamed Rice and Cookies.
Tickets cost $12.00 and may be purchased from church membersoratthedoor. Boutiqueitemswillalsobeavailablefor purchase. Proceeds will go to support various mission projects.
• St. Catherine's Catholic Daughter will be hosting their Annual Christmas Boutique on Saturday, Nov. 3, and on Sunday, Nov. 4, at St. Catherine's Parish Hall.
The boutique will feature Scentsy, Gold Canyon, LulaRoe, Tupperware, custom rosaries, baked goods, homemade goods, customized vinyl drinkware, Paparazzi, and more. There will also be Pictures with Santa, food and complimentary coffee.
The boutique will be open on Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. St. Catherine's Parish Hall is located at 356 North Villa Avenue in Dinuba.

• Dinuba High School's Baseball and Softball will be hosting the 2018 Annual Golf Tournament onSunday, Nov. 4 at Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Club.
The tournamen will be a four-person scramble and registration will begin at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Enjoy good company, food and golf, while playing at one of the best courses in the Valley. Proceeds from the tournament benifit the Emperors' Baseball and Softball programs. Over the last several years the tournament has helped fund college scholarships, payment of uniforms, batting cage upgrades, field upgrades and new equipment.

• The Tulare County Child Abuse Prevention Council will be presenting their 13th Annual Cynthia Lockart Mummery Conference on Thursday, November 8, at the Visalia Convention Center. This year's thems is Building Trauma-Informed Schools and Communities.
Keynote Speaker will be Jim Sporleder, a retired high school principal from Wala Wala, Washington. He was was featured in the documentary "Paper Tigers" and is the author of "The Trauma- Informed School."

Hundreds of Dinubans made the trip out to Bulldog Stadium on Saturday to support local products Marcus McMaryion (Fresno State Quarterback) and Isaac Leppke (Wyoming Receiver) as the Bulldogs faced the Cowboys in a Mountain West showdown.
McMaryion led the Bulldogs to a 27-3 victory. Leppke, though on the Wyoming sidelines, did not play.
Also in attendance was Dinuba's Dylan Lee, who is a pitcher for the Miami Marlins AAA baseball team.

Ruiz Foods goes pink to ght cancer

During Ruiz Foods' Fourth Annual Pink Out Day over 1,000 employees dressed in Pink to raise $5,195 to fight breast cancer.
"Ruiz Foods Team Members in both Dinuba and Tulare continue to amaze me," said Dinuba Plant Manager Kevin Davar. "They are determined to show that together we can help fight and work to find a cure for this devastating disease."
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and, to date, Ruiz Foods has raised over $40,000 for the Kaweah Delta Foundation. Of that amount, over half of it has come from the Dinuba and Tulare plants.
Hundreds of Ruiz Foods employees gather in pink for the company's annual "Pink Out." In an effort to fight breast cancer, Ruiz Foods donated $5 for every employee who dressed in pink.
