Students at Orosi High School attended their annual Career Day on Friday listening to special guests talk about career pathways. The event drew over 90 professionals that included Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District Superintendent Yolanda Valdez.
Pictured is guest speaker Tulare County Fire Chief Charlie Norman, who was joined by a few other staff members, answering questions from students regarding his profession, training and education. Students also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Navy, Army, Marines as well as college personnel from San Joaquin Valley College, Reedley College and Fresno Pacific College, to name a few.
More details of the OHS Career Day will be in next week’s edition of the Sentinel.
Dinuba FFA students serve at ADHS fundraiser event

Officers worked the entire auction by holding
up items and walking them around while the auctioneer was raising money for the museum. After each sale, officers would run paperwork as the next item was up for bids.
Officers helped serve dinner to those attended prior to the auction. After the event was over, Dinuba FFA cleaned up all debris, moved tables and chairs, while also helping move large items for the historical society and auction winners.

On Saturday October 6th, the Dinuba FFA chapter attended the Alta District Historical Society’s annual fundraiser event. There were 26 members that participated in setting up tables, chairs, auction items, and food for the evening.
While setting up, members learned about the history of the building, as well as Dinuba. Later that evening, the Chapter Officers arrived to help serve dinner, auction off donated items and clean
