Chukchansi Getaway
Join our next trip to the Chukchansi casino on Friday, Aug. 24.
The cost is $17, which includes $10 free play and $5 lunch buffet with photo ID. To sign up, come to the Phil Hudson Senior Room at the Reedley Senior Center on weekdays, 9 a.m. to noon. You'll also have to sign a waiver form. The center is at 100 N. East Ave.
Payment accepted through check or money or- der made to the City of Reed- ley. The trip is sponsored by the Reedley Community Ser- vices Department.

Free Computer Classes
Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 27 in the Phil Hudson Senior Room, 100 N. East Ave. “Computer I” starts at 1 p.m. and “Computer II” starts at 3 p.m.

Café Bistro / Billiards

at the KCUSD all-staff meet- ing will include a twist on songs by Michael Jackson, Imagine Dragons and The Beach Boys. Students will also sing songs from the mov- ies “Coco” and “The Greatest Showman.” The variety of musical genres will reflect a back-to-school theme.
“Wetriedtomixitupa bit,” Wiebe said.
Wiebe, who is in charge of choreography, hopes that students will walk away from KC Showcase with a new ap- preciation for theater arts that will continue throughout their education.
“The students learn what it’s like to put on a production and how it all works,” she said.
When third-grader Sophia James joined KC Showcase this year, she said, “I liked it immediately.”
“I like the song choices and the dance moves,” said Sophia, a student from Riv- erview Elementary School. “I’ve seen people that I know and I’ve made new friends.”
Rose Muniz, a third-grad- er from Jefferson Elementa- ry School, said KC Showcase combines three of her favor- ite things: singing, dancing and acting.
“I am having so much fun,” she said.
