Alejandro Leon accused in May 23 shooting death of Eduardo Fonseca

Alejandro was reportedly an acquaintance of Eduardo and the two had known each other for some time. A motive for the shooting has not been released, as the case is still active.

ed stolen in the 1100 block of West El Monte Way at 6:16 a.m. The trailer was taken from Tractor Supply after a cord was cut.
• An injury traffic collision was reported in near the in- tersection of East Tulare and K streets at 6:55 a.m.
• A fire was reported in the area of Avenue 384 and Road 104 at 10:20 a.m. The fire reportedly occurred after a vehicle struck a propane tank.
• A disturbance was report- ed in the 1300 block of Park Way at 10:06 p.m. A brother reportedly had a knife.
Saturday, August 24
• Three males were report-
edly causing a disturbance in the alley of the 500 block of West El Monte Way. It was reported at 7:44 a.m.
• Trespassers were reported in the 1100 block of North Alta Avenue at 1:33 p.m. Two subjects were report- edly seen inside a vacant residence.
• Vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 200 block of South Gloria Avenue at 3:18 p.m.
• A theft report was made in the 900 block of West El Monte Way at 6:41 p.m. The suspect was described as a male riding a bike, wear- ing a black Lakers shirt and black pants.
• Fireworks were reported in
the 1600 block of Echo Street at 11:41 p.m.
Sunday, August 25
• Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of North Bates Avenue at 7:58 a.m. A female was reportedly caught unscrewing boards from an alley fence.
• A theft report was made in the 1500 block of Oak Drive at 8:05 a.m. Items were re- portedly taken from the bed of a truck.
• A theft report was made in the 800 block of Short Av- enue at 10:29 a.m. A juvenile reportedly stole $100 from a subject and left the scene on a green bike.
• Shots fired was report-
ed in the 1400 block of Olive Way at 12:55 p.m. The shots were reportedly heard between Olive and Park Way.
• A subject was reportedly trying to stab his brother in a disturbance in the 300 block of North Lillie Avenue. It was reported at 3:58 p.m.
• A theft report was made in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 4:17 p.m.
• A fire was reported in the area of Wilson Avenue and Magnolia Way at 5:48 p.m. A transformer reportedly blew and power lines were on the ground.
• A residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Cory Court at 8:57 p.m.
