The Reedley College Tigers football team held an open practice for supporters on Aug. 11 at the practice field at Reedley College. The Tigers open their season on Saturday, Sept. 1, against De Anza College in Cupertino.

The Reedley College Tigers women's soccer team will hold a scrim- mage on Friday, Aug. 24, at Reedley College practice field. The Tigers will play Dinuba FC. Reedley College opens the season on Tuesday, Aug. 28, against Golden West College in Huntington Beach. Reedley College home opener will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18, against De Anza College.

RHS Youth Camp
The Reedley High bas- ketball team will be holding a fall youth camp. The camp is for youth ages kindergar- ten to third grade. The camp will be held Sept. 10, 17 and 24 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the small gym at Reedley High School.
Cost is $25 for early reg- istration by Friday Aug. 31, and $35 after Aug. 31.

Josh Allen shines in second preseason game for the Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen, former Reedley College Tigers football standout, went 9-for-13 for 60 yards and one touchdown for the Buffalo Bills in their second preseason game on Aug. 17. The Bills defeated the Cleveland Browns 19-17 in Cleveland. Allen will be the starter for the Bills third preseason game on Sunday, Aug. 26, against the Cincinnati Bengals. Allen played at Reedley College in 2014, before playing at the University of Wyoming in from 2015 to 2017. He was the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Bills.

Kayla Rocha, Reedley High Pirates girls volleyball player, had 35 assists to help lead the Pirates to a season-opening 3-0 victory over Yosemite High School on Aug. 14 at Reedley High School. Rocha also had three serving aces. Rocha then had 30 assists on
Aug. 16, to help lead the Pirates to a 3-2 win over El Diamante High.
