Margarita Aguilar Margarita Aguilar
of Sanger died Jan. 9 in Fresno. She was 71.
Mrs. Aguilar worked as a store greeter.
She is survived by two sons, one daughter, one brother, two sisters, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9 a.m. and Celebration of Life at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Time in Des- tiny Church in Sanger. Burial will be at Sanger Cemetery.

Patricia Alice Cook of Dinuba died Dec. 23. She was 71.
Mrs. Cook worked as a cashier.
She is survived by two daughters, three sisters, five grandchil- dren and seven great- grandchildren.

Cirila Herrera Her- nandez of Dinuba died Jan. 8. She was 90.
Mrs. Hernandez worked as a field la- borer.
She is survived by three daughters and one son.
Visitation was Jan. 15 at Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel. A me- morial funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Di- nuba. Burial will be at Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba.

Teodora Cano, 90 years old of Reedley, passed Saturday January 11, 2020. She was born to Eluterio Ruiz and Ignacia Cruz on June 26, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. She was married to Ramiro Cano in 1957 and they have lived together in Reedley, California since 1964. Teodora’s life circled around her husband and ve sons. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, but most of all spending time with her family. Teodora touched the lives of so many people, she had a special connection to everyone she met. She was well
known and respected in the Reedley Community.
Teodora is survived by her husband Ramiro Cano and ve
sons: John, Celso, Luis, Ruben and Jacinto Cano. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Adeline Frances Schellenberg passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Adeline was born October 27, 1931, in Capay, California to Samuel N. Bergen and Agnes Sawatsky Bergen.
The family moved to Dinuba when she was ve and she attended Dinuba Public Schools. She graduated from Immanuel Bible School in 1948.
She married the love of her life, Melvin Schellenberg in 1950. They were blessed with two children, John and Jeanette.
Adeline was a beloved piano teacher in the Reedley area. She began teaching in 1964 and still had 2 students up until her admittance to Sierra View Skilled Nursing in November 2019. She loved music and sharing her gift with her students. She especially enjoyed the piano recitals she held in December and June each year.
Adeline loved the Lord, and was very involved in the churches she and Melvin attended. She played piano, sang in trios, quartets and choirs. She loved sharing her faith with children and taught Sunday school for many years. They were members of Kingsburg Mennonite Brethren Church (now Hope Kingsburg) for over 40 years, and then joined the Hilltop Chapel in Miramonte when they moved to Pinehurst in 1994. Adeline and Melvin also ministered to the Fresno Rescue Mission for many years.
Adeline is survived by her children; son, John (Valery) Schellenberg, daughter, Jeanette (Don) Warkentin; Seven grandchildren, Heather Estala, Kristin Wood, Carrie Silva, Kyle Warkentin, Michael Schelllenberg, Bre Schellenberg & Macy Schellenberg, and 10 great grandchildren; her brother, Sam Bergen, and sisters, Ina Heinrichs, and Carol Gibbons; her brother in law and sister in law, Harvey (Annie) Schellenberg, brother in law, Charles Schellenberg, sister in law, Dorothy Wall, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Adeline’s life will be held on Friday, January 24, at 11 am at Hope Kingsburg, 1301 Stroud Avenue, Kingsburg. Remembrances can be sent to The Fresno Rescue Mission 310 G Street,

We mourn the passing of Vivian Barnes on December 21, 2019. Born Vivian Kay Mercer on Au- gust 15, 1936 to loving parents

Vivian spent her life in the Sanger area, graduating Sanger High School in 1954, raising her family, working for local packing houses making boxes alongside her father and be- ing known as the lady with all the plants and flowers
across from Wilson Elementary School.
Vivian enjoyed being born into 2 very large fami-
lies, making family and friends the focal point of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John and Wendell Mercer, husband Ernie Barnes, an infant son Jamie Conley, and her very loved daughter Wanda (Conley) Swofford. Not to forget the scores of Relatives and Friends. She will be missed greatly by her sister Ella Dodson, brother Jer- ry Mercer, daughters Diana Conley, Kathy Conley, Bev Martinez, Sugar Cliff, son-in-law Bobby Cliff and her son Doug Barnes. Grandchildren Mario, Amber, Taresa, Sonny, Mike, Winter, Chris, Robert, and Liz. 20 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great-Grandchil- dren. Along with everyone who called her Family, Mom, Aunt Vivian and Friend.
We will be having a Celebration of her life on January 18th, 2020 in Sanger at the Eagles Hall located at 225 J st. 1pm to 4pm.

Virginia Stucky of Orange Cove died Jan. 11 in Reedley. She was 89.
Ms. Stucky worked as a farm laborer.
She is survived by one son, two daughters, one brother, one sister, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchil- dren and one great- great-grandchild.
Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Dopkins Di- nuba Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Sat- urday, Feb. 1, at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.

the chamber's annual Awards Gala at Reedley College on Saturday, Feb. 29.
Nominees will be ac- cepted for nine catego- ries including Citizen of the Year, which recog- nizes a Reedley citizen involved in growing the community through their volunteerism, vision and leadership.
