Apolinar 'Paul' De La O
Apolinar "Paul" De
La O of Orosi died Aug. 26. He was 81.
Mr. De La O was an agricultural main- tenance worker. He is survived by one son, three daughters, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Churc- gh in Cutler. A grave- side service will fol- low at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.

Guadalupe Pecina Espinoza Guadalupe Pecina
Espinoza of Orosi died Aug. 14 in Visalia. She was 86.
Mrs. Espinoza worked in farm labor.
She is survived by her husband, Gumaro Espinoza Sr., three sons, one daughter, three sis- ters, 12 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.

David Z. Gai
David Z. Gai of Madera died Aug. 19 in Fresno. He was 72.
Mr. Gai worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by one son, four daughters, two sisters, 15 grand- children and four great- grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 31 at Grace Church of the Valley in Kingsburg. Burial with full military honors followed at Kingsburg Cemetery.

Rosalina Garcia of Reedley died Aug. 22 in Reedley. She was 76.
Mrs. Garcia worked as a baker.
She is survived by her husband. Richard T. Garcia, three sons, one daughter, two broth- ers, two sisters, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation is from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Dopkins

Israel Castillo Lara
of Sanger died Aug. 7. He was 60.
Mr. Lara is survived by his wife, Veronica Lara, and one son.
Vistation and a rosa- ry were held Aug. 16 at Wallin's Funeral Home in Sanger. A mass was held Aug. 17 at St. Mary's new Catholic Church in Sanger. Buri- al followed at Sanger Cemetery.

The Fresno Council of Governments and the Fresno County Transpor- tation Authority are co- hosting a series of public workshops and presenta- tions now through mid- September. The work- shops are designed to so- licit residents' feedback and opinions on a series and transportation and land-use planning docu- ments that will serve as spending and growth blueprints for the next 20 years.
A workshop is sched- uled to take place Thurs- day, Sept. 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sanger Community Center, 730 Recreation Ave., The first two workshops were held Aug. 31 at the Reedley Community Center and Sept. 1 in Coalinga. After Sanger, six other workshops are scheduled in September.

John delaMontanya
July 2, 1935 ~ August 10, 2021
John delaMontanya loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 86. Born in Red Bluff, CA to Earl and Anna Belle, John grew up in Auburn, CA. After moving to Dinuba, he served several years on the Planning Commission. He was elected to the Dinuba City Council, a seat he held for 16 years, serving as Mayor twice.
John married his wife Pat in 1982 and their combined family includes Lynette (delaMontanya)
Langguth, Michael delaMontanya and Michael, Gregory, and Douglas Millhorn. John and Pat have 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. John is also survived by his brother Bert and sister Martha.
John’s passions outside of family were his commitment to our Lord, membership in Dinuba Lions Club, Boy Scouts, bridge with the guys, and gardening. He was known for his kind, loving, and compassionate spirit.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at Christian Worship Center 240 E Fresno St. on Saturday, Sept 4th 11am.
Lunch to follow in the social hall.
