35 ENGINEER REGIMENT (EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL & SEARCH)
35 Engineer Regiment EOD&S is stationed at Carver Barracks, Wimbish (CBW) alongside 33
Engineer Regiment EOD&S. It is a Regiment that lives a culture of readiness that is built upon the foundations of basic skills, motivated soldiers and an unshakeable commitment to their families and communities. Aspiring to be a forward leaning, learning organisation that seeks to deliver a world class military capability on demand. Achieving this requires a focus on being ‘ready, relevant and optimised.
As I enter my third year in 35 Regiment EOD&S, Regimental life remains as demanding as ever. Members have been deployed on Ops NEWCOMBE, INTERFLEX, TOSCA, BANKNOTE and INTERBOW. This year also commemorated the Regiment’s 75th year of service, alongside the disbandment of 15 Field Squadron and the reformation of 15 HQ & Support Squadron.
In addition to our rigorous Regimental battle rhythm, the Squadrons have consistently supported 8 Engr Bde and international EOD&S partners in major exercises like ARDENT DEFENDER, SCORPION WARRIOR and WESSEX STORM. Despite the packed schedule, we still managed to enjoy some Regimental multi-activity Adventurus Training (AT) packages on Ex CHIEFTAIN CORNISH (Cornwall) and Ex SCORPION ADVENTURE (North Wales).
Our Regimental Sports teams have flourished this season, particularly the

The Boxing team has competed at CBW Vs Rock Barracks and the RE Boxing Finals and is now gearing up for Corps team selection and the Army Individuals Championships. Winter Sports also remain popular among Regimental members, who compete in Nordic, Alpine and Snowboarding competitions annually between November and February.
On 7 Jun 23, 35 Engineer Regiment hosted the UK Midlands Women’s Festival of Sport at Carver Barracks, Wimbish.
Ex SCORPION ADVENTURE
