LIFE AS A NEWLY ESTABLISHED SERGEANT INSTRUCTOR (SI) AT ITC Sgt (SI) S Coleman RAPTC
I arrived at ITC in January embracing the role as a newcomer, fully immersed in a dynamic environment where each day brings fresh challenges, ensuring you’re always on your toes. Despite the whirlwind nature of it all, there’s a sense of satisfaction in rising to the occasion and tackling the responsibilities of leadership and training head-on. It’s evident that every day presents its unique blend of tasks and scenarios, making this adventure both exhilarating and deeply fulfilling. Collectively as RAPTCIs, we are fully committed to managing multiple AAPTIs that form the very foundation of

the gymnasium’s identity. Our diverse portfolio of accounts not only defines the gymnasium but also reflects the cohesive teamwork of the RAPTC, exemplifying our commitment to excellence as a unified cohort.

At ITC, the energy never falters, with over 44 platoons immersed in dynamic training year-round. The PD Wing orchestrates a relentless schedule, seamlessly supporting 30+ daily sessions and up to 130 weekly lessons.
Amidst this whirlwind, the annual Boxing event emerges as an unparalleled spectacle, pitting Army Boxing Association against Bahrain Royal Guard in a dazzling display of skill and determination. Beyond its entertainment value, this event serves as a beacon, illuminating the path to future Army sports for recruits, whilst also supporting a noble cause. Our commitment to Healthier Heroes resulted in a staggering £5,600 raised, a testament to the unwavering generosity of our sponsors who helped make the night truly extraordinary.
