“The most reliable way to predict the future is to create it”. Abraham Lincoln
By the time this article goes to print, I will have moved to my next appointment, however the
legacy of positive change will have been firmly embedded into the PD element of programme ADAIR for our future leaders for the next 10 years. We (the RMAS PT Wing 2022-2024) created it by understanding the evolving needs of our current and future generations. As the landscape of warfare and security
challenges change, we had to learn, adapt, and innovate to ensure those entrusted to us were developed appropriately and robustly enough for their future journeys. The ability to win and consistently out- think and out-manoeuvre will always come from a foundation of physical and mental fitness.
I came to the RMAS expecting to walk with giants, I have certainly done that! Every
team member past and present from SMI to syndicate Sgts have been role model exemplars and understand that the pursuit of excellence in support of the mission is non-negotiable. Marginal gains make a big difference through compound effect and the team continue to search in every area for the one percents that will unlock potential, it is this mentality that will predict future success for our future leaders.
