New to Thrapston..........................................................................
Local businesses at the new Indoor Market in Thrapston
A group of entrepreneurial local women have chosen Small Business Saturday (7th December) to launch their new, monthly indoor market. The indoor market will be held in St James’ Church Hall on the first Saturday of every month, coinciding with Thrapston’s now famous Farmers Market.
The team, headed by Laura Patey-Smith will each set their stall in the church hall with items such as jewellery, personalised items, wellness and health care items, as well as skincare and gifts. Each paying an amount to attend which goes to the church hall fund.
Laura Patey-Smith, organiser, said: “There are a lot of small businesses in Thrapston, often just working out of a spare room or garage, I wanted to give them a regular space to showcase their items and help them become more successful, the fact we can help the church hall in the process is a lovely added bonus.”
Some of the businesses who attended:
Pictures 2 Life – showcasing an array of personalised items, including mugs, mouse mats, coasters and more, ideal for that difficult to buy for auntie at Christmas. Tropic Skincare – a wide range of skincare and body products from lip gloss, to cleanser, to body lotion. All Tropic items are free from nasty chemicals including preservatives and parabens.
