Sgt Neil Orton joined the Company
in 1993, and has served as a reservist
for 30 years including on operations. He has been a critical asset to the Company and Battalion through his outputs in
the recruiting and training spheres. His reputation, and work ethic will be missed by all. In gratitude for his dedicated service, Sgt Orton was presented the MERCIAN Eagle by Major Deepe Rawji.
The next award was presented to the best soldier in C Kohima Company. This year the award was presented by Major Deepe Rawji to Pte Alan Bulman for his exceptional soldiering skills, and representing the MERCIAN Regimental Ethos.
