The Summer Reading Challenge:
  Wild World Heroes
The Summer Reading Challenge will take place this year for all children aged between 4 and 12 years of age. The theme is Wild World Heroes. The challenge runs from Saturday 10th July to Sunday 5th September. Children can register at the Library from Saturday 10th July, when they will be issued with their activity pack and will be able to choose their books. Any books read or listened to can be included in the challenge.
This year, activities will not be allowed in the Library but instead, the Library has organised a Treasure Hunt around the town, which will also start on Saturday 10th July and runs until 5th September. All entries should be submitted to the Library by 5th September, when they will be entered into a prize draw. The first correct entry to be pulled out of the hat will win the prize.
The names of the children, who successfully complete the challenge to read at least 6 books between these dates will also go into a prize draw. There will be three Wild Life themed activities taking place on Zoom, which will
be free, thanks to the Friends of Thrapston Library. These take place in August, with the details in the activity pack, in the Library and on the Library Facebook page. The numbers are
