Anniversary Service 22 August 2012
For fifty years students from the City of Bremen have visited the German Cemetery in Cannock Chase and carried out maintenance work to both individual head stones and the cemetery as a whole. To mark the anniversary, a special service was arranged on 22 August 2012. This involved a religious service and wreaths were laid in the German Cemetery followed by a Civic Reception in the County Buildings in Stafford.
Visit of Royal British Legion Wootton Bassett
Saturday 28th October 2012
We were honoured to receive a visit from The Royal British Legion in Wootton Bassett to the King’s Head Public House in Lichfield. They wanted to present a framed needlework print made by someone in
2nd North Staffords and a group of them drove to Lichfield to do this. Members of Lichfield and Wolverhampton and other branches duly arrived to see them. We would like to thank Publican John Rackham for informing us and for making us feel welcome.
