                                  video conferences with partner agencies within the Cayman Islands Government. For Team 29, their task was to turbo-charge the recruitment and training of the fledgling Cayman Islands Regiment (CIR), a reserve unit which would soon be tasked with being the primary boots on the ground to deliver Humani- tarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) support. Using a CIR white paper from the Minister of the Armed Forces, Team 29 set the process of formation into motion, facilitating the recruitment and training of an initial batch 60 soldiers and 7 Officers in order to meet Initial Operating Capacity within 16 weeks’ time.
The most pressing task at hand was to generate and prepare a team of Officer Cadets to attend the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) Reserve Commissioning Course, who would depart from the Cayman Island in only a few days’ time... The team delivered lessons to the candidates over zoom, including the basics of the 7 Question Estimate and Orders process, as well as an overview of what to expect on arrival at RMAS... a rude awakening some might say! Concurrently, the team completed a deep dive into the range of requirements needed to establish the Cayman Islands Regiment itself; using the Defence Lines of Development as a framework,
