DIAMOND CELEBRATION
On September 24th I would have been ordained priest for 60 years and hope to attend a service on that day in Ripon Cathedral. The following
I will be celebrating Holy Communion at St. Mary’s Finedon at 10.30am, sixty years after I celebrated my first Communion at St Mary’s Hunslet, Leeds. Anyone is welcome to attend the service and I look forward to seeing some of you there. Peter Baden

Meditation
Before the pandemic we had a small Christian Meditation Group meeting at 62 Springfield Avenue on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 4.00pm.
The meeting consisted of a talk, a short prayer and 20 minutes of silent meditation following a pattern suggested by The World Community of Christian Meditation whose website, WCCM, will give you further information. We finish by 5.00pm.
I intend to start again on September 7th and we will meet initially on the 1st and 4th Tuesday of each month. Please get in touch if you are interested on 01832 733186 or just come along.
