                                 ON THE HIGH STREET
        THRAPSTON CHARTER FAIR
SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2PM TO 5.30PM
THRAPSTON CELEBRATES! BUSINESSES & PRODUCERS FROM
THRAPSTON & SURROUNDING VILLAGES
SUBJECT TO GOVERNMENT CORONAVIRUS GUIDLELINES
businesses, producers and our community. What you can expect on the day will include
some of the usual and some new fairground rides including, mini bumper cars, teacups and a mini wheel. Singers, entertainment, local stall holders selling their products and, of course, we will be having the raffle. We will have an art & photography exhibition in the Plaza centre and to help with the party atmosphere, we will have an extended Bistro area so visitors can sit, relax, have a drink and some food, while enjoying the atmosphere and maybe catching up with others they haven’t seen in a while. Our pubs will be open and there will be plenty of food to buy on the day. The Church of St James’ always serves refreshments and joins in the fun.
In the past, we have awarded the best window display from the High Street shops.
Something slightly different this year instead
of a best window, we have invited the shops to decorate their window displays with anything in celebration!
The Charter Fair is run on donations, grants, proceeds from raffle, stalls and sponsorship, which we are always looking for. This year we say a big thank you to a local company A C Binns Transport for the use of a lorry this year to host the entertainment.
We are a small group of community minded volunteers who work hard to put on the fair for the community to enjoy. We thank Thrapston for all the support we get each year.
Come and join us for the celebrations and fun for all the family, while supporting our local community.
