Letter from the Parish Priest, Father Pius Amoako: Greetings in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ, since the Government’s approach towards the management of the Covid19 pandemic shifted from legislation
and restrictions to encouraging personal responsibility, the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales have produced useful guidance about how we might proceed. In view of this, our approach as a parish has been a gentle reintroduction instead of making all the changes at once.
So, we will continue with most of our current practices and introduce changes as and when we feel safe and confident to do so.
Thank you for all for continuing to make our Parishes so vibrant.

With the final easing of COVID restrictions
as of July 19th, we are delighted to announce that we are now fully back to holding worship services in the church. Please see our website
for the safeguards we will continue to practice for the time being (www.thrapstonbaptist. co.uk/covid-safeguards). Our food bank project continues to develop in partnership with members of the community and East Northants Faith Group. This is bringing much needed help to those in need at this time, especially those as have been affected by the pandemic. Plans for September include a stall at Thrapston Charter Fair on the 11th, where you can make contact with us and learn more about our church and our work in the town. Recordings of the services are still being made available via our website (www.thrapstonbaptist.co.uk/podcasts)
