Zoom Meetings
The winter season of Zoom presenta􏰁ons ended on 11 April when Russ Hedley spoke on waders and coastal birds: it was a really good talk. He also gave a fascina􏰁ng talk on owls just before Christmas. Russ is now a member of GBC.
I have learned much from the Zoom talks which we started during Covid when mee􏰁ng face to face wasn’t possible. They have con􏰁nued and up to 35 members tune in with room for many more to take part. If you need assistance in se􏰂ng up or don’t understand how Zoom works, please contact me and I will try to assist.
Recently we’ve had talks on photography. (Thank you John Hudson), godwits, owls, waders, Antarc􏰁ca. (Thank you Andy Webb), White-tailed Eagles, Lesser Spo􏰀ed Woodpeckers & the author F W Hudson.
During July and August I will be se􏰂ng up the new winter programme. If you would like to give a talk, or know someone who would, please contact me.
ZOOMS start at 7.30 pm, tune in from 7.15.
Dates for 2024 are:
5 September 10 October 14 November 12 December
Dates for 2025 will be in the annual calendar and repeated in Out Birding. Jim
