Freedom of the City of Lich eld to DMS Whittington
The service at Lich eld Cathedral on Wednesday 28th September 2016 was followed by a parade that passed by the garden of remembrance where veterans lowered their Standards to acknowledge the salute.
Members of the RADC with the RAMC based at the Defence Medical Services at Whittington Barracks Lich eld pass the saluting base for the Veterans. Other contingents were from the Royal Navy, the Royal Air Force together with the mascots from the former Staffordshire Regiment and the former Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment. Both Regiments had been based at Whittington Barracks at some time.
