The Brunei Dental Team conducts a Dental Health Intelligence Visit to British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN) once every two years. The main aim of the visit was to ensure that

flying to Pokhara, one of the most beautiful, peaceful and famous destinations in Nepal. Flight time from Kathmandu to Pokhara was only 30 minutes. Buddha Airlines was our scheduled flight and luckily the flight took
off on time as the flights are often delayed due to the inconsistent weather conditions. On arrival to BGN Pokhara Camp we were welcomed by BGN Medical Centre staff. The staff provided us a quick induction of the camp. Since the afternoon was free,
we decided to utilise the time by exploring Pokhara. Despite time constraints, we managed to visit a few places such as Sarangkot, Shanti Stupa, Davis Fall and Lake Side. The Sarangkot and Shanti Stupa are at the top of a hill giving a magnificent view of the Pokhara landscape. We ended the evening by walking along the Lake Side area and visiting the Italian restaurant named ‘Concerto’ for dinner.
On the morning of Wednesday 26th
Sep we visited the appointed dental clinic ‘Smile Care’ at Gairapatan, Pokhara. We were welcomed by the Principal Dentist Dr Sumanlal Shrestha and his Receptionist/ Practice Manager Mr Narayan Bastola. The dental staff were friendly and professional,
