who has helped to make the reunion happen, in any way. It couldn’t work without the support of a few dedicated people who beaver away in the background, unseen and generally un-thanked.
And nally, a plug for next year. As you will be aware 2018 is the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Light Infantry. The Light Infantry Committee, together with representatives from the three battalions and Volunteers, is working to make the reunion a special occasion. Committee members are investigating various options to be considered, and a decision made at the next meeting towards the end of September. Shortly afterwards, the itinerary will be publicised. A Royal Colonel has been invited, but attendance will not be con rmed until the end of the year. It will be a special event so put the date in your diary - 16th June, come along and bring a friend, or even two.
