RAVC Cenotaph 2023
The National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph took place on Sunday 12 November 2023. Remembrance Sunday provides the nation with
a poignant physical reminder of
the service and sacrifice of our British and Commonwealth Armed Forces alongside members of the emergency services and civilians, ensuring that no-one is forgotten.
Every year we march alongside the Dental Corps, and a big thank you to Matt Fawcett, ex-Farrier, who marched on behalf of the RAVC.
The atmosphere was humbling, with the thousands of people who came along to show their respect, not only to those marching, but to all whose friends, family, colleagues and loved ones have been lost over the years.
This year Sunday 10 November 24 we are able to march under our own Corps association flag, I would love it if we could fill the twenty spaces we have been allocated.
This is open to all Ex-service personnel and civilians
from the UK and the Commonwealth who have served with the RAVC.
Wives, husbands, or civil partners of those who have died as a result of their service in His Majesty’s Armed Forces
A carer of a veteran requiring wheelchair assistance.
Honorary and members of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps Association.
If you would like to participate this year, please inform the Regimental Secretary, no later than 31 July 2024
