MARATHON
AND
FUN RUN
It was a very early start but our volunteers were in place to help out at the Half Marathon and Fun Run. The finishing line was at Hessle High School rather than the Humber Bridge car park as in past years. Our job was to hand out medals and bottles of water and shout encouragement.
The cadets were happy to receive a free T-Shirt at the end of the day!

VJ DAY
TS Iron Duke was again honoured to take part in the Commemoration of VJ Day. Our respective Leading Cadets accompanied the Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire and the Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull. There was also a good turn out from the rest of the Ship’s Company.
