THE RIFLES OFFICERS FUND (CHARITY NUMBER 1025591)
Income in 2023 was £41,970 (£35,687) of which £41,967 (£35,678) was investment income. Expenditure totalled £45,353 (£41,095) of which grants to the benefit of individual officers, or their widows totalled £5,947 (£4,502). Further grants for officer activities amounted to £20,222 (£11,614), this includes temporary salary costs to cover the Officer recruiting post until civil service recruitment recom- mences. Grants to battalions of £1,500 (£2,500), property/presentation manage- ment, governance, insurance and auditor’sfees totalled £7,681(£7,479) and £10,000 (£15,000) was transferred to the Iceberg fund.
As at 31 December 2023 the fund had a value of £2,075,060 (£1,987,050).
