Lord Lieutenant Awards were held in September, October and November in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, and Wiltshire where The Rifles was represented by Officers and Soldiers of 7 RIFLES, County Colonels and the Regional Secretary. A great outcome with three Lord Lieutenant Cadet Awards going to RIFLES Cadets.
Remembrance activities took place once again in November with marching con- tingents from 7 RIFLES in our freedom towns and cities and 5 RIFLES supporting their garrison in Bulford. A huge thank you to 2, 4 and 7 RIFLES personnel, and all those who supported and gave their time to laying the wreaths at the graves of the Fallen. This also entailed support to the families for which many messages of thanks were received as they appreciate remaining part of the RIFLES family.
