WORLD’S TOUGHEST ROW – ATLANTIC 2026
 PART TWO
If you read the previous edition of Cadet Review, you'll have seen the first of our many articles. But in case you missed it: we are brother and sister, Louis & Giorgia Webb from South Yorkshire, and
in 2026 we will be rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean! We have been asked by the Editor of the Cadet Review magazine, Colonel David Fuller OBE, to write about the amazing adventure we’ve undertaken!
So, what have we been up to between January and May 2024?
As mentioned in our previous article, we were both Cadets in the ATC / RAFAC. Louis continues
to be involved in the RAFAC as a staff member and recently passed his board interview, gaining the rank of Sergeant, and further cementing his passion to help cadets Venture for Adventure!
We are also over the moon to announce that we have successfully launched our website and social media platforms!
  In rowing news: Our brand-new logo is complete, and we are thrilled with it! It includes a horseshoe from Louis’ Farriery logo, which also represents the equine background of both siblings, something that has bonded them throughout their lives.

In April 2024, we ventured down to Teignmouth in Devon for a week-long Ocean Rowing course with ‘Sea Sports Southwest Ltd.’ Although the course is mandatory for anyone wishing to take part in the World’s Toughest Row, it was also a great experience and we learned so much. The course covered many different topics, all with the same goal - to help us navigate across the ocean safely. So, we thought we’d share a little of what we learned with all of you.
The first topic was Short Base Marine Radio. Here we learned all about VHF Radio and the correct
