forest and quickly grew into trees and from the trees came bright blue flowers and fairy dust.
When Badger was a cub, he had shared his home (sett) with the Badger clan. Although Badger didn’t have any siblings, he had his parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties
and plenty of cousins to play with. He would spend the long winter months listening to tales of the forest from his grandmother. He didn’t remember much about Sophronia, except how frightening she was. He and his small cousins used to run and hide whenever they heard her coming. But as the young badgers grew taller and stronger the old queen began to age. After the queen died it wasn’t long until Sophia arrived. From the moment they met, she and Badger became firm friends. He has guarded her ever since.
