Daisy and Lincoln Rabbit and their two daughters, Layla and Grace, enjoyed living in Barns Wood. Lincoln was happily working for Betsy Hedgehog at the Hog Takeaway. Recently, he’d overheard conversations between customers. Two elderly hedgehogs wanted to know why Charlie Rabbit and Alfie Squirrel were taking a keen interest in strangers moving in and out of Barns Wood.
‘We want to know what’s going on in there?’ she and her friend had said.
Lincoln had also heard about a mink that had been spotted near Farmer Harrison’s barn. He decided to tell Daisy and let her take a look for herself because mink had disappeared from the valley years ago and it might be of interest to Wisdom.
