Sue Duddridge was on hand to brief the Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset, Mrs Annie Maw, when she visited the entry from the Bridgwater Guy Fawkes carnival for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant. Sue’s involvement with preparation for the Jubilee celebrations are especially poignant given her father, Corporal David Lodge, was amongst a small party of ten that travelled by troopship from operational service in Malaya to represent the Somerset Light Infantry at the Coronation Parade in 1953.
